**Steps:** 1. Go to opcr.nepalpolice.gov.np (or use the Nagarik App) and register with your mobile and email. Write your name exactly as it is on your citizenship. Guides say it can't be corrected later. 2. Choose "Nepali citizen in Nepal" (or "abroad"), log in with the temporary password from your email, and set a new password. 3. Fill in your name, DOB, citizenship and passport numbers, address, purpose and country. 4. Upload your citizenship (front and back), passport pages and a photo with a white background. 5. Keep the reference number and check status. Once it is approved, download the PDF.

**Time:** usually 2 to 5 working days online. Longer if there is a name match (status shows "On Hold").

**Attestation:** if the embassy wants it attested, apply at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs consular portal (nepalconsular.gov.np). That costs around Rs 500.
