Numbers from the close: 181 stocks up, 91 down, 6 unchanged. 23.26 million shares in 69,619 transactions. Beni Hydropower hit +15% again. Ghalemdi Hydropower had the highest turnover (Rs 356 million at Rs 335).
One thing to watch: NRB is absorbing Rs 150 billion of extra liquidity over eight days, so lots of cash is sitting in banks. That usually supports the market.

IPO lovers: SEBON has 117 companies in the queue wanting to issue 510.98 million shares worth Rs 71.42 billion. Two are at the final stage: Ashutosh Energy (12 lakh shares, NMB Capital) and Kantipur Pharmaceuticals Lab (17 lakh shares, Muktinath Capital). Same source as above.
