NPL second round: can unbeaten Lumbini Lions defend the title?

The NPL second round has started, and the defending champions Lumbini Lions are still unbeaten. The Kathmandu Post says Rohit Kumar Paudel's side is winning with clinical execution and tactical depth rather than big star names.

Their Saturday match against Chitwan Rhinos was washed out without a toss, so each team got a point.

Can anyone stop them this season, or is it Lumbini again? Who is your pick?

Lumbini have the edge for now, but the second round is where pressure shows. With rain around, washouts and shared points can tighten the table quickly, so net run rate may decide the top spots.

Janakpur's 8-wicket win over Kathmandu showed they can chase well. I'd watch them.

Paudel's captaincy has been the difference. No panic moves. Lumbini again for me, unless the weather keeps cutting matches.
