Fees in Nepal (34 pages): Rs 5,000 normal at DAO or Department of Passports, Rs 12,000 fast track at the Department. 66 pages: Rs 10,000 normal, Rs 20,000 fast track.
Fill the online pre-enrollment form first (links on https://nepalpassport.gov.np), book a date, then pay online.
Normal passport is taking about 15 days at the Department lately. Passport service resumed under a new e-passport contract in July 2026, so there may be some delays during that stabilisation period.
