He began his 25th hunger strike on Thursday 29 October at Narayan Mandir in Ilam. His demands, as reported, include cancelling the MBBS and nursing approvals given to Martyr Dashrath Chand Health Science University (Geta), and to the government medical colleges in Ilam, Udayapur and Dadeldhura.
Separately, on 28 Oct the government decided to review and implement pending health and medical education agreements with protesting groups.

So the demand this time is about which new colleges get approval to teach MBBS and nursing. Hope both sides talk early, 25 strikes is a lot for anyone's health.
