Festivals Nepal is rich in culture and traditions which are based on the various religions practised thoughout Nepal. One of the reason why there are so many relgious festivals and ceremonies is because of various ethnic groups that exists in Nepal. Hinduism is the most common religion in Nepal. 80% of Nepalese are Hindu at the time of writing this post. Other relgion include Buddism, Islam, Chiristianity and relgion from various localities that invovle worshiping the nature and ancesters.
