Situation of Internet connectivity in Nepal

Internet connectivity in Nepal has improved in recent years, but it is still a challenge in many parts of the country.

One of the main challenges to Internet connectivity in Nepal is the lack of infrastructure, particularly in rural areas. Many communities in Nepal do not have access to broadband Internet, and even in areas where broadband is available, the quality of the service can be poor.

Another challenge to Internet connectivity in Nepal is the high cost of service. Internet service providers in Nepal often charge high fees for Internet access, which can be a barrier for many people, especially in low-income communities.

In recent years, the Nepali government has made efforts to improve Internet connectivity in the country, including through the expansion of broadband infrastructure and the establishment of public WiFi hotspots in major cities. However, more needs to be done to improve Internet connectivity in Nepal, particularly in rural areas.
